The Granville County Genealogical Society 1746, Inc. is a non-profit 501-C3 organization.

Donations to GCGS are Tax Deductible.

We have an ongoing project to collect and donate very desireable genealogical research books to the
NC Room at the Granville County Library.

We have rescued over 1,800 very valuable books over the last 10 years, at a cost to GCGS over $13,000.
The costs continue to increase every year and we need some help with the costs.

These valuable and not available elsewhere books are making the Granville Library a
destination point in the state of North Carolina.

People wanting to research their families cannot find the information elsewhere.
The Granville Library is unique in having the books with the information they need.
