The Fan Principle, a Research Tool

The Granville County Genealogical Society will hold it’s regular monthly meeting on October 4th at 6:30 P. M.. The program, to be presented at this meeting, will be given by the Society vice-president, Dick Taylor. The subject to be discussed involves some basic research techniques which, hopefully, will enable the researcher to expand the knowledge about any particular family being looked into; looking beyond just the bare bones information, including birth, death and marriage dates, to information which helps to fill in details of a family's life as they lived it.

The society meeting will be in the large conference room at Thornton Library in Oxford on October 4, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. Visitors are always welcome and are encouraged to join with the society members for this meeting.

All GCGS meetings are open to the public and guests are cordially invited to attend.
