Featured Speakers: Ms. Betty King
"How to Track Men Serving in The War of 1812"
Ms. Betty King will be the featured speaker for the Granville County Genealogical Society meeting on March 5, 2015 at 6:30PM in the conference room in the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford.
Betty will offer a short introduction about The War of 1812 and the battles during this war that men from Granville County fought in. Most of the program will feature an introduction for members on what sources are available for researching these men and how to determine if you have an ancestor that may have served in this war.
Betty is a member of the Granville County Genealogical Society 1746, Inc.
Please join the members of the Granville County Genealogical Society at 6:30 P.M. on March 5, 2015
in the conference room at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford. Visitors are always welcome and are encouraged to join in this presentation.
