Featured Speaker: Ms. Susanne P. Fathauer
"Honor Your Ancestors, It's Not About You"
Ms. Susanne P. Fathauer will be the featured speaker for the Granville County Genealogical Society meeting on April 2, 2015 at 6:30PM in the conference room in the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford.
Ms. Fathauer, who lives in Henderson NC, is very involved in genealogy. Her presentation will be “Honor Your Ancestor, It’s Not About You.” She resides in Vance County but will introduce the audience to her fifth and sixth generation ancestors who were from the original Granville County area, which at that time included Williamsboro, NC. This will include the Peace and Cooper families. Her great-grandmother, Ella G. Peace, was the first teacher at the Oxford Orphanage.
Please join the members of the Granville County Genealogical Society at 6:30 P.M. on April 2, 2015
in the conference room at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford. Visitors are always welcome and are encouraged to join in this presentation.
