Featured Speaker: Mrs Velvet Woodlief
"Winstead & Braswell Families in Eastern NC"

The program for the June 6, 2019 meeting of the Granville County Genealogical Society will be presented by Mrs. Velvet Woodlief, GCGS member, who will give a presentation on the "Winstead & Braswell Families." Velvet is a native of Vance County, NC, but she is closely connected to these two families of Wilson, Edgecombe and Nash Counties. Her research reveals the answer to how and why her Winstead/May grandparents were the only part of this family who ended up in Vance County.

Please join members of the Granville County Genealogical Society in attending this meeting, to be held at 6:30 P.M. on June 6, 2019 in the conference room at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford, N.C. All GCGS meetings are open to the public, and visitors and guests are always cordially invited to attend.
