This is the 25th year of Granville County Genealogical Society 1746 which started in 1994. Mildred Currin Goss was elected as the first president and has served every year since. Many others have served the society in various positions over the years. Bonnie Breedlove served as the Quarterly Journal Editor for ten years, and was the publication editor for the Cemetery Books published by the society.

All former and current members of the society are invited to come help us celebrate the first 25 years of GCGS.
Light refreshments will be served. Some prizes will be awarded.

Please join members of the Granville County Genealogical Society in attending this meeting, to be held at 6:30 P.M. on August 1, 2019 in the conference room at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford, N.C. All GCGS meetings are open to the public, and visitors and guests are always cordially invited to attend.
